• Drive the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive (two of our favorite couples got engaged here!)

• Bike along the Leelanau Trail or one of the many "TART" trails

• Kayak- we recommend Lake Leelanau or Glen Lake

• Visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes (the Dunes Hiking Trail is incredible but not for those without cardiovascular endurance... speaking from personal experience)

• Explore Fishtown in Leland

• Taste some of the world's finest wines at a winery or two (or three....four.... there are many shuttles that can be hired!) (recommendations for wineries below)

• Browse the many shops in Suttons Bay, Traverse City, Leland or Glen Arbor (Kelsea's faves: Poppy Things in Suttons Bay, Imagine That Eclectic Art & Gifts in Glen Arbor, Two Fish Gallery and Goodness on Main in Leland, The Village at Grand Traverse Commons in TC)

• Whenever you can, take the scenic route

• See one of Michigan's best light houses: Mission Point Lighthouse

• Golf at one of Jay's favorite courses: Manitou Passage Golf Club
